BTI Apnia

Thanks to APNIA®, patients with mild and moderate apnea can be diagnosed and treated at Herrera Dental Clinic through personalized splints. It is also useful for those patients with severe apnea who reject or do not tolerate treatment with CPAP machines (provided by sleep units) or to establish combined treatments.

CARESTREAM DENTAL CS 3600

Thanks to the CS 3600 capture, we achieve improved treatment planning and a more optimized workflow; thus, we perfect the capture of digital impressions in restorations, orthodontics, and implants. The accuracy of this scanner lies in the combination of two extremely important and complementary elements: trueness and precision. “Trueness” refers to how closely a measurement matches the actual amount being measured, while “precision” indicates the ability to repeat that measurement consistently.

It features high-speed continuous scanning, allowing captures to be completed perfectly without interruptions in the workflow.
With the 3D HD color function, it provides optimized 3D images in surprising high definition, ensuring better communication between the dentist and our patients.

Dental Computed Tomography (CT) is an X-ray equipment used in dentistry, especially in the fields of implantology, maxillofacial surgery, endodontics, and orthodontics. It differs from an orthopantomogram (panoramic X-ray) in that the image is in 3D instead of 2D, providing more spatial information, which is much more useful when making a good diagnosis.

OPTICAL MICROSCOPE

It is a stereoscopic optical instrument through which we obtain maximum precision and safety in surgical and endodontic treatments. The enlarged image (up to 25 times the real size) and the Xenon light illumination in hard-to-reach places make it an indispensable tool.

FLORIDA PROBE

Audiovisual technology for the diagnosis and monitoring of periodontal treatment. A precise system that, through constant pressure, guarantees accurate and predictable results.

It performs a correct evaluation of the patient’s periodontal status, before and after undergoing periodontal treatments. It transmits greater data reliability; thus, if any relapse is noticed during a patient’s check-up or maintenance visit, it is compared with previous data, visualizing the possibility of re-treating that area.
