The patient attended Herrera Dental Clinic with veneers placed more than 15 years ago, which presented visible ceramic fractures, marginal misfits, and a clear loss of aesthetics and functionality. The ceramic showed wear and loss of shine, and the margins no longer integrated correctly with the gum or the adjacent teeth.
It was a case of aesthetic and functional re-veneering, with the aim of restoring shape, color, and harmony to the smile, without excessively altering the dental structure.

- Removal of deteriorated veneers: the previous veneers were carefully removed, eliminating cement residues and evaluating the condition of the underlying enamel.
- Placement of TESSERA disilicate veneers: TESSERA™ advanced ceramic veneers were chosen, a zirconia-reinforced material that provides high strength, excellent aesthetics, and great chromatic fidelity. The new veneers significantly improve dental anatomy, surface texture, shine, and the gingival transition.
- Personalized redesign: the new dental morphology was adapted to the patient’s facial proportions, balancing length, shape, and alignment to achieve a rejuvenated and natural smile.
- Biomechanical and aesthetic improvement: the new veneers not only offer better adhesion and marginal sealing, but also provide superior resistance to wear and fracture compared to the old ones.
