COMPOSITE VENEERS
I was always uncomfortable with the shape and position of my teeth. Not only were they poorly positioned... one was smaller, another was rotated. Today I look at my smile and feel that everything fits: proportions, symmetry, and naturalness.
OUR PATIENT'S PROBLEMS
The patient attended Herrera Dental Clinic with notable dental crowding and a clear asymmetry in the upper anterior sector, highlighting a tooth 12 with conoid morphology (small and narrow tooth) that broke the harmony of the smile.
In addition, there was a lack of space to properly restore the dental proportions, and in the upper right posterior sector (tooth 16), a lack of bone that prevented implant placement without a prior intervention.
A complete treatment plan was designed with three phases: orthodontics for alignment and space creation, aesthetic rehabilitation with veneers and composite, and open sinus lift for subsequent implant placement.

WHAT HAVE WE ACHIEVED?
- Complete alignment through orthodontics: prior orthodontic treatment was performed to correct crowding, level the arches, and open the necessary space in the anterior zone for a proportionate aesthetic rehabilitation.
- Personalized aesthetic rehabilitation: we placed feldspathic veneers on the upper incisors to correct shape, proportions, and symmetry, including the conoid tooth 12, which was restored to achieve a normal morphology.
- Anatomical injected composite on tooth 13: to maintain symmetry with the contralateral tooth (tooth 23), a high-aesthetic composite injection technique was used, copying shape and texture for perfect integration.
- Open sinus lift on tooth 16: surgical intervention was performed to regenerate the lost bone volume in the posterior sector and allow the future placement of a dental implant, thus restoring masticatory function.
- A proportionate, functional, and natural smile: with an interdisciplinary approach, we managed to completely transform the patient’s smile, restoring proportion, alignment, aesthetics, and long-term functionality.
