OUR PATIENT'S PROBLEMS
Kevin attended Herrera Dental Clinic with a severe dental malposition and an unstable occlusion, which hindered both his masticatory function and the general aesthetics of his smile. These malpositions had led to a localized gingivitis, with inflammation and bleeding, especially in the anterior sectors.
After the initial study, a comprehensive treatment was planned: orthodontics (with a fixed or invisible option), basic periodontal treatment with professional cleaning, and subsequently a phase of aesthetic and functional rehabilitation with feldspathic veneers in the upper jaw and the placement of an implant in tooth 46.

WHAT HAVE WE ACHIEVED?
- Dental alignment and stable occlusion: orthodontics was performed using a fixed or invisible technique, achieving correct alignment of both arches, re-establishing occlusal contacts, and eliminating the factors that generated gingival inflammation.
- Periodontal improvement: a professional oral cleaning and periodontal follow-up were performed to reverse gingivitis, achieving healthy gums prepared for the aesthetic treatment.
- High-aesthetic feldspathic veneers: we placed 10 veneers in the upper jaw, using laboratory feldspathic porcelain, achieving a natural result with fully customized shape, texture, and color.
- Dental implant in lower molar (tooth 46): through guided surgery, an implant was placed in the lower right posterior area, recovering masticatory function and avoiding overloads.
- A transformed and balanced smile: thanks to this multidisciplinary approach, Kevin achieved an aligned, white, and natural smile, while also regaining health, function, and confidence when smiling.
